The Impeachment of George W. Bush

It is so easy to find material that is “Stuck on Stupid”. Usually I simply look at the CNN Top Stories RSS Feed and have a hard time choosing a story. This time I was looking at del.icio.us/popular and ran across this link: The Impeachment of George W. Bush. It is really fun to see how crazed these leftists are. Lets take a look at this quote: “While impeachment is a last resort, and must never be lightly undertaken (a principle ignored during the proceedings against President Bill Clinton), neither can Congress shirk its responsibility to use that tool to safeguard our democracy.” These people actually think that a President commiting a crime in the interests of the country (I am not conceding that President Bush has comitted a crime) is worse that a president who commits a crime in his own interests (Purjury to escape a civil suit judgement)

These people expect us to believe that:

  1. The President does not have the authority to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States”
  2. They are allowed to give “aid” to our enemies by showing them how to interfere with our military operations
  3. they can provide “comfort” to our enemies by showing them how to communicate without the US Government being able to intercept the communications.

Yes, it is the same people who will publish an opponents illegally obtained credit report that cry when our government spies on suspected terrorists just because they happened to be on US soil.

The best part of all this, is that these people are so “Stuck on Stupid” that they cannot even recognize themselves as such. This is why I post links like this, it is so much easier to get out of their way and let them prove it for me.
